Family Cruises On Carlingford Lough

Our afternoon family cruises are all about having fun on the lough and we have plenty of entertainment for the little ones and the adults!

Carlingford Lough is home to lots of wildlife including grey seals and our resident dolphin Finn, who is sure to pop up to say hello as we cruise! Our little VIPs will also receive a wonderful colouring page to take home and create a memory of your family time on the Lough.

These inner lough cruises take us along the Southern shoreline, past the medieval town of Carlingford with its picturesque marina and imposing King John’s Castle. On the Northern shoreline, enjoy panoramic views of Greencastle Royal Castle, and Rostrevor Bay, as the sun sets on the stunning Cooley Peninsula and Mourne Mountain region.

While onboard, you’ll also enjoy live music and an audio tour as we share the stories with of the famous ‘Lough of Legends.’ Take away café, snacks and drink services are also available onboard.

Board the cruises at our terminals at either Greenore, Co. Louth or Greencastle, Co. Down, and begin your cruise along this panoramic Lough area. Learn the stories of the famous myths and legends of the Lough.

As this is a family cruise with young children onboard, please note that dogs are not permitted on this cruise.
